The Spiderman app is almost a default setting on skateboarders’ phones. To prevent this, we have now released two cases for the iPhone together with Tucknee.
Tucknee is a skater-owned company from the Netherlands whose goal is to provide the most used commodity of our time with enough protection and appealing designs. To this end, they offer cell phone cases as a canvas to artists from the skate and surf scene and have already released collaborations with the likes of French Fred and Sebo Walker. As a magazine we mainly look at skateboarding through camera lenses and that’s why we chose the VX and the Hasselblad – two classics in documenting skateboarding – as motifs for our collabo, which Solo Family member and illustrator Timo Brunzel realized for us.

The cases are available for all popular iPhone models and cost €29.95. They are no plastic waste, but are made of soil (30%), onions (7.5%), carrots (7.5%), pepper (7.5%), sawdust (1.5%), rice (18%), soybeans (18%) and wheat (10%).
