We all remember our first time in a skate park. You don't know anyone, you feel insecure and you don't want to embarrass yourself for the first time. And now imagine you are on your way trough all of Europe to come from your country of origin to a country whose language you do not speak in order to live in a safe place. Pretty much the same feelings come to you. Viktor Telégin has therefore founded Skatenation for refugees who have come to Sweden, in order to give them an opportunity to get socially involved, to define themselves through skating and to bring other refugees close to skating. The moving image has already been shown at the Vladimir Film Festival and Pushing Boarders, and the project is definitely a perfect example of pushing "borders".
