David Turakiewicz is a nice guy. I like him. He likes me too. I would even say he loves me. Recently he dedicated a text to me and he shares hotelrooms with me as much as he can, where he immediately gets a bit to comfortable and starts farting with a grin on his face. But at least not to loud I have to admit. Besides his love for me there is not much more love in his life, cause he’s a hater (at least people say so). For sure, another thing he loves (besides the Austrian tv-show
"Braunschlag") is skateboarding and writing about it. He doesn’t like most of the stuff others write, but he likes his stuff – and I do too. What can I say, I’m a lover, not a hater.
So I always love it when I get a new issue of his magazine. I also love the issues without a translation even I don’t understand anything then. This issue is about social media, print vs web and stuff like that. It has Kevin Rodrigues,
Dave Carnie and an insane Backside 360 from Benjamin Garcia at the spot Nakel Smith slamed in "Pussy Gangster".
But the most important photo for me in there is a photoshop job I once did with Usain Bolt. As I said, Tura loves me and he loves my work, so he features it or links to it whenever he can. As it turned out, Madars Apse also is a big fan of me, cause he posted this photo on his instagram and it was the photo that got him the most likes. That made me happy. If you wanna be happy too, go to the skateshop and grab the newest á propos. Even Tura might be happy then, also he won’t admit it, this old grumpy hater.
