The name "The Quiet Leaf" derives from the editor Jin Yob Kim’s name. He lived in Germany for quite some years and now migrated to South Korea to issue a highly interesting Skatemag from Seoul – and distribute it worldwide.

The most fascinating thing about the magazine is that it completely differs from other skatemags. The Quiet Leaf does not focus on tricks, but on stories. With a lot of text it nonchalantly features people that are in some way part of the skateboard microcosm and has a certain main topic to lead through each issue.

The main topic of this issue is Thailand which is why it is trilingual (Korean, English and Thai). It features Patrik Wallner and Danny Supa among others and Dany Supa also scored the cover.

The magazine reminds us of a coffee table book more than anything else (not only because of the thick, quality paper) and brings across a feeling of recreation from our daily social media hassle.
