I met Arturs Bogdanovics 2018 at the ESC in Basel and met him again at several events in the following months. Arturs comes from Latvia (yes, just like Madars) and is keen to travel, so we met again in Copenhagen, Malmö or Berlin. He was there as a skater at the contests as well as documenting with his camera. Arturs has also produced two event recaps for Solo, one of them from Nizhny Novgorod.

Since Arturs is always working on some project (he produces, among other things, his own board bags called Sumka) it was only a matter of time before he packed his archive into a photo book. Translated its title means "The hunt on youth" and he expresses this in his pictures. The hunt for life, the joy of skating, the fun with friends. Along his journeys to contests and events Arturs documents the places and people around him. Sometimes it’s a skateshot of Matt Berger, sometimes a collage of dogs behind the wheel of a vintage car. Skateboarding, friends and always a good time, that's what the book reflects.
